Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year college degree and 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, accounting role or related field.
• Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Work extensively in cloud-based management software performing accounting and related property management tasks.
• Daily deposit of electronic funds received, payment of property related expenses and disbursement to owners.
• Read and interpret tenant and owner ledgers and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare and send accounting statements to property owners upon request.
• Monitor and oversee an electronic payment system by sending and receiving payments and updating account information.
• Provide customer service via phone and email to property owners by assisting with questions or concerns about their account.
• Process security deposits transfers and review move out accounting.
• Assist in account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of year-end accounting and financial statements.
• Assist in the collection of required tax information and preparation of necessary tax documents.
