Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Property Accountant in Charlotte, NC to oversee AR and GL for a multifamily portfolio, ensuring accurate reporting and policy compliance.

The role requires 1–2 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in residential property management, with strong Excel and Yardi proficiency. It reports to the Accounting Manager in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Experience with property management accounting software (Yardi) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify lease and accounting data entered into Yardi for accuracy.
• Review delinquency reports and collaborate with managers to maximize collections.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and post month-end close journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide insights on property performance during monthly reviews.
