Job summary

Picht & Sons in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Property Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage the financials of our day-to-day property management operations. You will record rent payments, process invoices, reconcile accounts, and prepare monthly statements for property owners, while maintaining confidential records.

Responsibilities

We need someone who is comfortable working with numbers but also understands what those numbers represent—rent coming in, vendors getting paid, repairs being charged to the right property, and owners receiving accurate statements.

This is a detail-heavy position. A payment entered against the wrong property or an invoice sitting unnoticed can create problems quickly, so we're looking for someone who keeps clean records and follows through when something doesn't add up.
