Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting required
• Property accounting experience
• General ledger/journal entry experience
• Microsoft Excel proficiency

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries for property-related transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop and maintain call schedules and supporting documentation for property operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial schedules and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with property managers and other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in property accounting.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
