Job summary

Accountants One is seeking a Property Accountant for a well-established Real Estate client in Metro Atlanta. The role aims to groom a candidate toward senior property accounting, in a culture where people grow and stay long-term.

The position involves monthly financial statements, CAM reconciliations, real estate taxes, budgeting, A/R/A/P tasks, and close collaboration with auditors. A minimum of 2 years in real estate accounting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• Must have 2 years of real estate accounting experience.
• Stable work history; no job hoppers.
• ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, Entrada.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Attention to detail, deadline-driven, clear communication, and passion for real estate.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounting for multiple properties with monthly statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and cash flow.
• Perform CAM reconciliations and real estate tax work.
• Assist with annual budgets and reforecasting.
• Manage A/R and A/P; coordinate with property managers on A/R issues and receipts.
• Work with internal and external auditors for annual paperwork.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

• Handle the accounting for multiple properties with financial statements monthly, along with journal entries, reconciliations, cash flow, etc....
• CAM reconciliations and real estate taxes

• Work closely with internal and external auditors for annual paperwork
• Any special projects
