Position: Property Accountant
Location: Arlington, NY – Onsite, Full-Time

About Us
We are seeking a Property Accountant to join our clients team and play a key role in supporting our financial operations across multiple entities. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position offers an opportunity to work closely with leadership and make a measurable impact in a fast-paced environment.


What You’ll Do,
Will be responsible for a variety of accounting and financial functions, including:
  • Managing day-to-day accounting transactions and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
  • Overseeing accounts payable processes for multiple companies in compliance with internal procedures.
  • Preparing comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting packages for stakeholders, including reconciliations and income statement analysis.
  • Completing annual CAM/RET reconciliations for commercial tenants.
  • Partnering with the CFO to forecast monthly cash flow.
  • Leading the annual budget process and monitoring expenditures throughout the year.
  • Ensuring all banking transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
  • Collaborating with property managers and internal teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
  • Coordinating with external tax consultants to provide accurate records for annual filings.
  • Assisting with special projects and process improvements as needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA license a plus).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience, ideally in real estate or a related industry.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
