Position: Property Accountant

We are seeking a Property Accountant to join our clients team and play a key role in supporting our financial operations across multiple entities. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position offers an opportunity to work closely with leadership and make a measurable impact in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll Do,Will be responsible for a variety of accounting and financial functions, including:- Managing day-to-day accounting transactions and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
- Overseeing accounts payable processes for multiple companies in compliance with internal procedures.
- Preparing comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting packages for stakeholders, including reconciliations and income statement analysis.
- Completing annual CAM/RET reconciliations for commercial tenants.
- Partnering with the CFO to forecast monthly cash flow.
- Leading the annual budget process and monitoring expenditures throughout the year.
- Ensuring all banking transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Collaborating with property managers and internal teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Coordinating with external tax consultants to provide accurate records for annual filings.
- Assisting with special projects and process improvements as needed.
What We’re Looking For- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA license a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience, ideally in real estate or a related industry.
- Solid understanding of GAAP.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- A team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
