Vireo Health, Inc. is seeking a Budtender (Full-Time) in Missouri to join Proper Brands within our Retail team. You will educate customers, guide product selections, and ensure a compliant and positive purchasing experience.

As a Budtender, you will create a positive, memorable experience for every Proper Cannabis customer, ensuring their safety and satisfaction while educating them on products that may achieve their desired outcome. Your product knowledge, attention to compliance, and role as a brand ambassador contribute to our mission of improving people’s lives through cannabis.

What impact you’ll make:

• Create a positive, memorable experience for every Proper Cannabis customer while ensuring their safety and satisfaction
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all dispensary products and their medicinal qualities
• Educate customers on available products and tailor recommendations to their needs in compliance with state law
• Answer product questions, gather feedback from returning customers to further customize recommendations, and serve as a brand ambassador
• Enter sales orders into the POS system, process payments, dispense change, and maintain an accurate cash count in your assigned drawer
• Update sales and inventory records accurately and maintain customer confidentiality
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dispensary in adherence to hygiene and sanitation guidelines, including assigned side jobs
• Back up team members, maintain customer flow, and collaborate with dispensary staff during peak business volume
• Attend team meetings and maintain professional, positive, and effective working relationships

What you’ve accomplished:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years in retail and guest services
• Passion for cannabis
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service-oriented and team-centered with a positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to gain and maintain a thorough understanding of the medicinal implications and effects of Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid strains
• Must be 21 years of age or older, with the ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID by start date, which may include submitting fingerprints and passing a criminal background check
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, sit, stand, and carry and lift up to 30 lbs in an environmentally controlled retail store, with travel up to 10% of the time
• Preferred: Familiarity with Missouri cannabis laws and regulations, and 1+ years of cannabis retail experience
