Job summary

CHS Northwest in Port Angeles, WA is seeking a Propane Truck Driver/Service Technician to join our team. You will haul propane to local customers and assist with servicing propane systems in a Monday–Friday home daily role, with occasional weekend work during busy seasons.

The ideal candidate holds a Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, has 2+ years of verifiable CDL experience, and can read, write and communicate in English while working independently.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• 2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-tractor and tanker trailer to deliver hazardous energy-grade materials safely.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving and route planning.
• Load/unload using loading arms and hoses; document handling of hazardous materials.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service; coordinate with customers and teams.
• Prepare delivery docs and daily load/unload reports; log records electronically.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections; report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Notify leadership of incidents or safety concerns; follow required response procedures.
• Assist with related tasks such as equipment hookups and site readiness.
