Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. in Pompano Beach, FL, is seeking a Terminal Inventory Technician to oversee daily inventory, unload propane rail cars, and assist in loading LPG trucks, while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities include taking readings, completing Excel-based inventory reports, and performing maintenance under the Regional Logistics Manager. Prior propane rail car/truck experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Propane rail car/truck experience preferred.
• Computer experience with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the terminal inventory and complete daily and month-end inventory reports.
• Unload propane rail cars and oversee loading of LPG trucks.
• Take daily temperature, pressure and liquid level readings of storage tanks and record results.
• Perform facility and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Complete rail car and truck paperwork and assist in achieving terminal expense goals.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow AmeriGas policies.
