Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Terminal Inventory & Logistics Assistant to support regional operations at the Atlanta area terminal.

Under the Regional Logistics Manager, you will monitor inventory, unload propane rail cars, oversee truck loading, and perform routine maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment. Daily tasks include recording temperature, pressure, liquid level readings, generating Excel-based inventory reports, and ensuring compliance with safety and company

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and Word for daily reporting.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Comfort with basic data entry and reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Take daily readings (temperature, pressure, liquid levels) of storage tanks and record.
• Complete daily and month-end inventory reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Spot and unload propane rail cars; load rail cars if applicable.
• Oversee loading of LPG trucks and unload LPG trucks.
• Complete rail car and truck paperwork; maintain records.
• Perform facility and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in achieving terminal operations expense goals.
• Adhere to safety policies; participate in pre-employment and ongoing screenings as required.
