Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Service Technician for our Alden customer service center. The role involves propane service and tank installation, leak identification, and responding to emergencies, with on-call rotations in the evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include tank maintenance, inspections, and potential support with bobtail propane deliveries, while maintaining proactive, clear communication with managers, dispatchers, and customers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• CDL Class A or B required or preferred.
• Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred.
• Propane Delivery License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform tank maintenance and prep of spare tanks for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Cross-train to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed.
• Communicate with Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.
