Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable Service Technician in Dothan, AL to install, maintain, and repair propane systems for homes and businesses. You will respond to emergency calls, test systems for safety, and safely transport propane while delivering excellent customer service daily.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of related experience, and a valid CDL Class B license (Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of related service or technical experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Citizen or eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain propane systems and equipment for residential and commercial customers.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform system testing to ensure safety compliance.
• Safely load, transport, and deliver propane as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing safety and service information.
• Assist with appliance service and deliveries when needed based on customer demand.
