Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Full-Time Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain propane equipment for retail customers. You will work local routes and be home each night, with potential on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergencies.

Responsibilities include emergency response, system installation/testing, and ensuring customer safety and service quality. A CDL-B with HazMat/tanker endorsement is preferred; high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Good driving record.
• CDL Class B with HazMat and tanker endorsement preferred.
• US citizenship or eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers.
• Provides emergency response and system installation/testing.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to specified destinations.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and answers inquiries.
• May assist with deliveries and propane appliances based on customer needs.
