Lampton Love Gas Company in Richland, MS is seeking a Propane Service Technician. This role installs, maintains, and repairs propane systems and appliances, ensuring safety and code compliance while assisting customers with service needs.

The technician may support deliveries and general operations as needed, requiring a strong mechanical aptitude, safe work practices, and good customer service in a family‑owned setting within the Ergon family of companies.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat & Tanker or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with gas systems or mechanical work preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to lift 60+ lbs and work in all weather.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair propane systems and appliances, including working in tight spaces and crawlspaces.
• Set tanks, run lines, and perform leak checks.
• Assist customers with service needs and answer questions.
• Stay safe and follow all codes and regulations.
• Help with deliveries and yard work when needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
