Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, the nation’s largest propane distributor, has immediate openings for safety-minded, customer-focused Service Technicians at a location near you!

As a local Service Technician, you will install and repair propane tanks for our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. This role includes delivering propane when needed and working 8–12 hour shifts, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and benefits like medical, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
• DOT physical, drug test and background check
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle and repair/maintain tanks for residential and commercial customers
• Install new propane tanks/systems per codes and policies
• Deliver bulk or canister propane as needed
• Follow AmeriGas Safety and Operations Procedures and required PPE
• Occasionally perform Delivery Representative duties as needed
• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts when required
