Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician in Saint George, UT to install and repair propane tanks for residential and commercial customers with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role involves operating a propane service vehicle along routes, performing repairs and installs, and, when needed, delivering bulk or canister propane. You will work in all weather conditions, comply with codes and safety policies, and may have 8–12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check completed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along provided service routes
• Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers
• On an as‑needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propane
• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
• Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12‑hour shifts
