Lakes Gas is seeking a propane Service Technician for a local route, home every night, Class B CDL position. Primary responsibilities include customer service, sales, servicing, inspecting, and installing propane tanks, cylinders and appliances at residential and commercial sites. Service Technicians pump out tanks, remove and relocate tanks, perform outside equipment inspections, route, secure and install gas lines and piping and set and install tanks and meters. Service Technicians will assist in the upkeep of company vehicles, tools, and plant. Service Technicians may assist branch locations by delivering propane to customer accounts. CDL candidates need to be safety conscious, have a strong mechanical aptitude and good driving skills. This CDL position involves being exposed to extreme weather environments and working a compensated on‑call rotation.

You will receive $1,000 after (3) months of employment and achieving a minimum of a Class B License with Tanker and Hazardous Endorsements; after successfully completing (6) months of employment you will receive an additional $2,000. Must be employed and in good standing at the time of payout to qualify.
