Job summary

Tiger Fuel Company in Virginia’s Orange area is seeking a Propane Service Technician with CDL to install, repair, and maintain propane systems for our customers. You will handle tank deliveries, provide emergency response, and ensure safe operation of equipment while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with installation and repair of propane-based heating systems and appliances.
• Class B CDL license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements - may be earned after being hired.
• Clean driving record.
• Drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check and pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains propane distribution systems for retail customers.
• Tank deliveries utilizing flatbed truck with CDL requirement.
• Responsible for providing emergency response and system installation and testing.
• Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries.
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and vehicle by keeping tools, equipment and materials in proper places.
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operates vehicle in accordance to established safety procedures.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads propane equipment to and from specified destinations.
• Requires on-call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response.
