Job summary

Valley Wide Cooperative is seeking a safety-minded Driver in Jerome, ID. You will deliver propane, bulk oils, fuels and lubricants, install tanks, manage purchases, and maintain logs and inspections.

The role requires a Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrake endorsements and a clean driving record. You must communicate professionally with customers and staff, prioritize tasks, and follow safety rules on every shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements.
• Clean driving record with required endorsements.
• Knowledge of propane installation regulations and safety practices.
• Strong communication skills for professionals with managers, supervisors, customers and public.
• Ability to make decisions and act according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane, bulk oil, gasoline, diesel, heating oil and lubricants.
• Set up and install bulk tanks/containers at customer locations.
• Maintain bulk plant facilities and related purchase orders.
• Record daily tickets and logs; complete driver inspections.
• Follow route price sheets and obtain approvals for discounts."Any deviations must be approved by management.
• Coordinate with store managers and personnel; communicate via phone/radio.
• Adhere to all commercial vehicle rules and safety practices.
• Respect customer property and perform other duties as assigned.
