Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is hiring a Local Fuel Delivery Driver to safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers. You will load and unload propane, drive a clean vehicle, and provide exceptional service while complying with safety standards.

CDL Class B with Tanker/Hazmat is preferred and DOT medical certification is required. The position offers a seasonal/flex schedule with five overtime opportunities during peak demand periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year delivery driver experience.
• CDL Class B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Legal Authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane to customers from containers and trucks.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
• Utilize available technology to monitor propane inventory, tank levels and generate delivery tickets.
• Perform pre/post vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues to Fleet Manager/Dispatcher.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher on routing, scheduling, and safety issues as needed.
• Work overtime when required and perform other duties as assigned.

The Local Fuel Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience
• CDL Class B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Current DOT medical certification

Seasonal/Flex Position

We offer multiple work rotations based on operational needs and employee preference:

• 6 months on / 6 months off

During your active season, you’ll play a critical role in delivering propane and supporting customers throughout high-demand winter months. Off‑season periods provide extended time away from work between active assignments.

Pay Transparency:

The hourly rate ranges from $28.00-$32.00 with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on industry experience, CDL/Hazmat endorsements, and technical expertise.
