Federated Co-ops, Inc. is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver for the Cambridge Propane Plant in Cambridge, MN. This full-time role involves safe, daily local driving and direct customer service in the community.

The position requires a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and on-call availability for weeknights and weekends. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to customers and load propane into bulk trucks.
• Operate and maintain trucks and equipment in compliance with DOT rules and company policies.
• Perform tank setting, leak testing and LP gas system maintenance as needed.
• Support Sales with calls and potential sales targets.
• Inspect and maintain bulk facility, truck, and equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Document all work per policy and be available for on-call shifts.

Position Type: Full Time

Join Federated Co-ops, Inc. as a Propane Delivery Driver and enjoy the stability of a home-daily driving position while serving customers in your local community. We're looking for a safety-focused, dependable Propane Delivery Driver to work out of our Cambridge Propane Plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivery of product involves loading propane into the bulk truck and delivering into customers’ storage tanks in accordance to company, division, and location policy and procedures.
• Drives and operates trucks, vehicles, equipment and tools safely and efficiently by following all current D.O.T. regulations, company policies, manufactures instructions, State and local laws and codes, and any other applicable laws, codes or regulations.
• Tank Setting, Leak Testing, Tank Management and Repairs for LP gas systems as required by NFPA codes and regulations.
• Assist Sales Department with calls and potential sales target areas.
• Maintains and paints LP gas tanks at company and customer locations.
• Inspect and maintain bulk facility, bulk truck and equipment continuously to ensure cleanliness, safety, proper operation and positive cooperative image.
• Documents all work as required by company, division, and location policy.
• Available and able to work on-call weeknights and weekends.
• Rail facility unloading duties if applicable to the location.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous Propane and CDL experience is preferred
• Must have a valid Driver's license.
• Active CDL with endorsements preferred
• Able to obtain a Class B CDL License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move more than 50 pounds.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee will manually dig trenches to install LP gas lines. Employee will lift and carry cement blocks.

The wage range for this position is set at $20 - $30 / hour. The actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
