ThompsonGas is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver in Swansea, IL. You will drive a propane delivery bobtail, complete daily local routes, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries to customers.

The role requires a valid CDL-A or CDL-B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Excellent customer service is essential, with on-call duties including evenings and weekends. Benefits include medical, vision, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license.
• Valid Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physicals.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks.
• Excellent customer service and professionalism with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• On-call rotations including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers daily.
• Follow a pre-determined route and communicate any changes to the manager.
• Record deliveries, meter readings, and tank levels via Tablet.
• Inspect vehicle at start of day and report needed maintenance.
• Inspect, paint, and repair company-owned tanks as needed.
• Interact professionally with customers and address questions or concerns.
