Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a CDL‑B propane delivery driver to safely operate delivery equipment and ensure accurate meter readings and customer service. You will deliver propane gas, perform inspections, and maintain documentation per Department of Transportation standards.

The role requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a solid driving record, and the ability to work on call with a team that emphasizes safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Valid CDL‑B license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Knowledge of bulk plant and bulk truck equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and delivery equipment safely.
• Deliver propane gas to customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Record deliveries, meter readings and tank percentages.
• Inspect equipment and report any safety or maintenance issues.
