Job summary

ThompsonGas is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver to join our local delivery team in Montana. The role delivers propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers, follows routes, and ensures safety and customer service standards.

You will operate a bobtail truck, perform daily safety checks, record meter readings, and maintain tanks while upholding DOT regulations. CDL-A or CDL-B with tanker and Hazmat endorsements are required; on-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A or CDL-B
• Valid Tanker Endorsement(s) and HazMat endorsement
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physicals
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers professionally
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Availability for on-call rotations including evenings and weekends
• Previous propane experience preferred
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Complete daily propane deliveries to local customers
• Follow a pre-determined route and communicate any changes to the manager
• Record deliveries, meter readings, and tank percentages via Tablet
• Inspect vehicle at the start of each day and report needed maintenance
• Inspect, paint, and repair company tanks as required
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT/state regulations
