Federated Co-ops Inc. in Cambridge, MN is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver Apprentice to learn delivery of LP gas, tank setting, and basic gas-system work.

You'll train on loading, loading bulk tanks, and delivering to customers while following safety, DOT, and NFPA guidelines. This role offers CDL training and a path to a stable, long-term career with a safety-minded team.

Qualifications

• Previous propane and CDL experience preferred.
• Active CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to customers and load into the bulk truck.
• Install propane tanks and assist with gas-system maintenance.
• Operate trucks safely and comply with DOT regulations.
• Assist Sales with calls and potential sales target areas.
• Work on-call weeknights and weekends.

Responsibilities include driving a tank truck to deliver liquefied petroleum (LP) gas, install propane tanks, and assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems at customer locations.No CDL? This is a great opportunity to build a stable, long-term career with a company that values its people.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Propane Delivery Driver Apprentice include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Delivery of product involves loading propane into the bulk truck and delivering into customers’ storage tanks in accordance to company, division, and location policy and procedures.Drives and operates trucks, vehicles, equipment and tools safely and efficiently by following all current D.O.T. regulations, company policies, manufactures instructions, State and local laws and codes, and any other applicable laws, codes or regulations.Tank Setting, Leak Testing, Tank Management and Repairs for LP gas systems as required by NFPA codes and regulations.Assist Sales Department with calls and potential sales target areas.Maintains and paints LP gas tanks at company and customer locations.Inspect and maintain bulk facility, bulk truck and equipment continuously to ensure cleanliness, safety, proper operation and positive cooperative image.Documents all work as required by company, division, and location policy.Available and able to work on-call weeknights and weekends.Rail facility unloading duties if applicable to the location.Requirements:Previous Propane and CDL experience is preferredMust have a valid Driver's license.Active CDL with endorsements preferredAble to obtain a Class B CDL License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements.The employee must regularly lift and /or move more than 50 pounds.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
