Job summary

Quality Propane in North Carolina is seeking a CDL driver to load, transport, and deliver propane safely to residential and commercial customers. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, assist with on-call rotations, and ensure on-time deliveries while upholding DOT and company safety standards.

Need Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and pull 125 lbs. Company offers medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid holidays, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely.

• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require.

Our drivers work closely with service technicians, dispatch, and local leadership to deliver safe, on-time service while maintaining strong customer relationships.

What You'll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days

• Complete onboarding, safety training, and ride-alongs to learn EDP delivery routes and procedures
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (DDVIR) and document findings accurately
• Begin independent deliveries with support from dispatch and service teams
• Learn how we communicate with customers, handle after-hours calls, and elevate service needs appropriately

What Success Will Look Like in the First 90 Days

• You're consistently completing safe, on-time deliveries while following DOT, safety, and company standards.
• Customers recognize you as a reliable point of contact and trust you in their homes and facilities.
• Your truck inspections, paperwork, and electronic reporting are accurate and completed daily.
• You're comfortable participating in the on-call rotation and communicating clearly when schedules change.

• Familiarity with DOT inspections and compliance standards

Pay: $28–$32 per hour (based on experience)
