Job summary

CMP Energy delivers propane with a commitment to safety and reliability. Our drivers work closely with service technicians, dispatch, and local leadership to ensure safe, on-time deliveries and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include loading and transporting propane, conducting daily inspections, and providing courteous service at customer sites; on-call rotations may be required to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work on-call and outside regular hours when required.
• Commitment to following safety procedures without exception.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance or equipment needs promptly.
• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location.
• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require.

What You’ll Do in Your First 30 Days

• Complete onboarding, safety training, and ride-alongs to learn EDP delivery routes and procedures
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (DDVIR) and document findings accurately
• Begin independent deliveries with support from dispatch and service teams
• Learn how we communicate with customers, handle after-hours calls, and escalate service needs appropriately

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
