Job summary

Superior Plus Propane, Inc. is seeking a Bobtail US – Driver (Propane Delivery Driver) to safely and timely deliver propane to customers. You will load and unload propane, maintain a clean vehicle, and use technology to print tickets and track inventory.

You will work with a dispatcher on routing, comply with safety standards, and may work overtime. A CDL, tanker and hazmat endorsements, and a DOT medical card are required. We offer flexible schedules and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B license required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• DOT medical certification current and valid.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane safely to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Use technology to monitor inventory, print delivery tickets and record daily reports.
• Maintain safety standards and conduct vehicle inspections.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for routing and scheduling, alerting issues as needed.
• Overtime may be required when business needs demand.

US - Bobtail US – Driver (Propane Delivery Driver)

The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck , tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred
• CDL Class A or B 1 Required
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement Required
• Current DOT medical certification
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required . We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening

Schedule:

• 7 months on / 5 months off
