Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading telecommunications company, is seeking an AI Engineer to support their infrastructure and AI initiatives. You will develop AI-powered tools and services that automate infrastructure analysis and optimize workflows.

Day-to-day involves context creation, prompt engineering, and selecting the right models to deploy across Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure in an onsite Plano, TX or Bothell, WA environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with agent creation and AI agents/skills.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and context generation.
• Understanding of model selection and AI tooling.
• Familiarity with infrastructure technologies like Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS and Azure.

Position Summary:

We are seeking AI Engineers who can apply AI to infrastructure and software engineering workflows. The primary focus is on developing AI-powered tools, agents, and services that understand infrastructure context and automate or assist with infrastructure-related analysis and development. This role involves building AI tools that analyze existing infrastructure, simulate traffic/resource requirements, and generate actionable recommendations.

5 days onsite in either Plano, Texas or Bothell, Washington.
