Job summary

The WCVB Summer Internship Program from Hearst Television offers a 10-week opportunity for senior undergraduates or recent graduates. The Creative Services Intern will learn to write and produce promotional content for NewsCenter 5 and Chronicle, with opportunities to participate in shoots both in-house and on location, and contribute to PSA production.

Salary is $20/hour, with flexible scheduling by department.

Qualifications

• Include a letter of recommendation from a professor for the internship.
• Provide writing samples relevant to your areas of interest.
• Only one submission per applicant for a given area of interest.
• Applicants should be senior undergraduates or recent graduates.

Responsibilities

• Write effective news topical promotions for NewsCenter 5 and Chronicle.
• Assist with promotional and commercial shoots, in-house or on location.
• Contribute to PSA production as part of WCVB's community efforts.
