Job summary

Ilani is seeking a Promotions Support role to help execute promotions and events at our Washington casino. The position involves developing communications plans for promotional information and supervising giveaway activities with the promotions team.

You will train staff, coordinate product movement and staging, and ensure compliance with rules while handling guest data and event records. Strong Excel/Tableau skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and disseminate promotions calendar to the ilani team.
• Disseminate data after promotions and proofread all work.

Additional responsibilities include developing communication plans for disseminating promotional and event information.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Promotes superior guest service.Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.Perform as a supervisor during all promotional giveaways or special events, as needed. Duties entail training the team members working the giveaways, moving giveaway products to the giveaway location, staging the giveaway with giveaway product, evaluating guest play, and addressing guest complaints.Works with the Promotions Specialist to create promotional rules and guidelines for approval by regulatory bodies.Works with the Promotions Specialist on creating the promotions calendar that is disseminates to the ilani team.Supports promotions in accordance with approved rules and regulations.Works with the Promotions Specialist on disseminating data following a promotion or event.Proofreads all work before forwarding to the Promotions Specialist or Promotions & Special Events Manager.Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Associate degree in data-related field plus 1-2 years of experience in casino promotions or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.Self-directed and capable of handling multiple mission-critical projects simultaneously.Strong ability to effectively communicate and can work well as part of a team.Outstanding organizational skills, as well as strong written and verbal skills.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.Must be able to lift 40 lbs.Must be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends.Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.Preferred Qualifications:Casino experience.Understanding of SDS or Slot Interface Systems.Presenting data in Excel (charting, pivot tables) and data manipulation in Access and/or Tableau.Weekends & Holidays Required, If ScheduledWork Shift:Day (United States of America)Wages:This role offers a starting wage of $22.33 per hour.
