Cbus Media Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a Promotions Assistant for part-time work at live events and public appearances. You’ll help with setup, tear-down, and engaging with listeners while representing our stations with enthusiasm.

You'll capture photos/video for social channels and coordinate with advertisers on-site. No media experience required; we’ll teach you. Position pays hourly and requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsabilités

• Set up, run, and tear down station appearances, live broadcasts, and public events across Central Ohio.

• Pitch in wherever the team needs you, from tents to banners and beyond.

Promotions Assistant (Part-Time)

You like being where the action is. You’re comfortable talking to anyone. You’d rather be out at an event than stuck behind a desk. If that sounds like you, we want to meet you.

Cbus Media Group is home to Qfm96, Sunny 95, Mix 107.9, and more. We’re part of Columbus every day on the air, online, and out in the community. Our Promotions team is the reason listeners get to meet us face to face, and we need another enthusiastic pair of hands.

What you’ll do

• Help set up, run, and tear down station appearances, live broadcasts, and public events across Central Ohio.
• Capture photos and video at events for our station social channels.
• Greet listeners, hand out prizes, and represent our stations with energy.
• Connect with our advertising partners on-site and make sure their event goes well.
• Pitch in wherever the team needs you. Some days that’s a tent and a banner. Some days it’s something new.

Where you can grow

This job is part-time, but it doesn’t have to stay small. If you’re interested, you can learn studio work and how to run a live broadcast. You can also train on the advertising side of the business. Our company runs on a lot of different skills. Ambitious people find room here.

What you bring

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Pay and schedule

• $14–$18 per hour.
• Weekly schedule is negotiable.
