American Specialty Health Incorporated is seeking a Promotional Sales Manager I to join our Strategic Partnerships (STP) team. This position will create product awareness to drive conversion to meet new membership sales objectives.

Salary Range: American Specialty Health complies with state and federal wage and hour laws. Compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. The full-time annual salary range is $56,700 to $65,000.

Remote Worker Considerations: Candidates selected for this position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home (WFH) with company-provided technology. A stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload) is required for participation in online meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Achieves annual new business membership goals based on assigned book of business.
  • Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies to meet sales objectives.
  • Creates a positive first impression and maintains professional relationships to enhance sales results.
  • Supports pre and post sales activities, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Provides proactive service to support growth and retention of clients, including timely responses, program reviews, and relationship management.
  • Balances client and company expectations, ensuring efficient practices.
  • Documents client interactions and activities accurately and timely.
  • Identifies and resolves client issues, escalating high-level concerns appropriately.
  • Monitors and updates client marketing metrics.
  • Effectively sells concepts and manages client segmentation.
  • Participates in sales meetings, training, and industry conferences.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary information.
  • Submits weekly activity and progress reports to the VP.
  • Participates in client entertainment functions as directed.
  • Meets administrative deadlines and maintains accuracy in work.
  • Engages actively in sales initiatives and training sessions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience (high school diploma required if experience is equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of sales experience, with a proven ability to meet/exceed quotas; healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Inside sales experience with a successful track record in relationship development over the phone.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies across multiple channels.
  • Web analytics experience is advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and availability of automobile.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%.
