Job summary

Augusta TV LLC, WFXG Fox 54 is seeking a Promotion Producer to create topical marketing materials for our newscast and various platforms. You will write, shoot, light, direct, edit, and produce promo content for web, on-air, and social media.

Responsibilities include staffing shoots, producing client promos, and collaborating with the news team to promote daily stories while staying ahead of marketing and motion graphics trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or experience in on-air cable, broadcast, or post-production house.
• Minimum 2 years experience in non-linear editing and shooting experience is preferred.
• Strong aptitude for new technology.
• Extensive writing portfolio and samples.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record compliant with our Vehicle Driving Safety Policy.
• Self-directing, self-motivating, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Strong graphics background with the use of Final Cut and the Adobe Suite of products.
• Write, edit, and shoot for content for all platforms
• Require staffing/shooting on evenings and/or weekends for shoots and community events.
• Schedule, create, and manage all promotional/production needs for Sales, including client commercials, sales presentations, graphic toolkits for sponsored news promotions
• Copywriting, visual storytelling, videography, non-linear editing, and graphic design
• Work with our news team to promote daily stories and image campaigns across all platforms
• Stay on top of trends in marketing, social media, video production, and motion graphics
