Job summary

VERSANT Media in Los Angeles area is seeking an Associate Producer to support the development and execution of multi-platform campaigns for its portfolio of entertainment brands, including USA, SYFY, E!, and Oxygen True Crime. The role focuses on writing, producing, and editing on-air promos, longform content, and social assets.

Responsibilities span coordinating with creative directors and editors, delivering edited spots, and ensuring brand consistency.

Qualifications

• : 3+ years experience editing multi-platform video content for cable, broadcast, streaming, theatrical, etc. at either a network, media company, or agency.
• : Must have a reel/portfolio demonstrating related editorial work
• : Knowledge of all aspects of video production and post-production

Responsibilities

• Produce and edit launch spots, on-air promos, longform video content, social media content and other assets across multiple platforms
• Collaborate with creative directors, project managers, graphic designers, finishing team, audio mixers, and other departments to shepherd projects through the entire production process
• Write promo scripts, copy, and other marketing material as needed
• Collaborate with external editors/agencies on campaign development/execution by providing guidance and feedback to meet creative goals
• Create and/or oversee retagged and resized assets to ensure creative consistency across platforms throughout the campaign lifespan
• Develop innovative shoot ideas for launch campaigns, including social components
• Assist in preparation for and production of live action shoots
• Supervise audio and voice over sessions as needed
• Partner with team for brainstorming exercises and overall campaign development
