Albert Lea Area Schools is seeking a Prom Advisor at Albert Lea High School to coordinate and manage the annual prom. You will lead the Prom Committee, supervise students and volunteers, and oversee decor, ticketing, and event direction for the Grand March and dance.

The role involves coordinating with photographers and venues, purchasing supplies, and ensuring a successful, well-organized celebration for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Create, lead, and advise the student Prom Committee, including organizing and facilitating their planning meetings.
• Supervise and direct students and volunteers as they decorate the gym and dance space.
• Organize and monitor prom ticket purchasing.
• Coordinate the Grand March at the high school and attend as the event director.
• Coordinate the dance and attend as the event director.
• Purchase or order any needed supplies for these events.
• Connect with third parties (photographer, dance venue, etc.) who help the event take place.
