Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development in Fayetteville, GA seeks enthusiastic servers to deliver gracious, professional dining experiences aligned with Autograph Collection standards. You will greet guests, describe dishes and wines, upsell, set tables, and work with Front of House to maintain a spotless, efficient service during busy shifts.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or higher, hospitality experience, excellent communication, and the ability to use POS systems and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in an efficient and courteous manner following proper steps of service.
• Set up tables with items needed for service (flatware, drinkware, condiments, linens).
• Maintain knowledge of current menu items, ingredients, preparation, accompaniments, and sauces.
• Bus tables quickly and quietly, ensuring table is thoroughly cleaned.
• Upsell menu items and wine pairings with meals.
• Ensure guest tables are properly set up during meal periods with appropriate flatware and drinkware.
• Participate in daily cleaning of dining room and service stations.
• Attend monthly department meetings and daily standups.
• Follow cash handling procedures and explain shortages and overages.
• Other duties as assigned.
