Job Description

Help grow a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, every day.

Position Summary:

The Projects Manager is responsible for the structured delivery of customer-driven, engineered-to-order and internal business projects from order acceptance or project authorization through to completion and close-out. The role provides disciplined planning, coordination, communication, risk management and performance visibility across cross-functional teams.

Working across Sales, Engineering, Planning, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain, the Projects Manager ensures that requirements, responsibilities, milestones and decisions are clear and controlled. The role manages assigned projects directly while supporting consistent use and continuous improvement of OsecoElfab project management processes, tools and governance.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned customer and internal projects from initiation through delivery, handover and close-out.
  • Define and maintain project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, responsibilities and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain proportionate project plans, schedules, action trackers, risk and issue registers, change logs and status reports.
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables, production schedules, testing, quality documentation and other project requirements.
  • Monitor progress against agreed milestones, internal commitments and customer requirements, taking corrective action where performance deviates from plan.
  • Identify risks, constraints, dependencies and bottlenecks early; agree mitigation actions and expedite material issues promptly.
  • Manage project changes in a controlled manner, assessing effects on scope, timing, cost, resources, quality and customer commitments.
  • Ensure projects are completed with required approvals, records, lessons learned and formal close-out.

Cross-Functional Delivery

  • Coordinate project activity across Sales, Engineering, Planning, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and other relevant functions.
  • Translate customer or business requirements into clear internal actions, deliverables, owners and due dates.
  • Facilitate effective project reviews and working meetings, ensuring decisions and actions are documented and followed through.
  • Build alignment between functional priorities and the overall project plan, influencing contributors without relying on direct authority.
  • Support resolution of delivery conflicts, resource constraints and competing priorities through evidence-based escalation and decision-making.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary project contact for assigned projects, providing clear, timely and professional communication.
  • Prepare and issue project updates, meeting agendas, minutes, action logs and progress reports appropriate to the project.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations regarding scope, schedule, technical clarification, documentation, testing and delivery commitments.
  • Represent OsecoElfab in customer meetings and internal project or leadership reviews as required.
  • Escalate significant concerns constructively and maintain transparent communication until resolution.

Project Process, Systems and Tools

  • Apply agreed project workflows, stage gates, governance, documentation standards and change-control practices.
  • Use and maintain approved project management tools, ERP and CRM records, dashboards, templates and reporting systems.
  • Contribute practical feedback to improve project planning, scheduling, communication protocols, standard work and customer-facing materials.
  • Promote consistent project information, document control and reliable performance data across assigned projects.

Performance and Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report relevant project measures, including milestone adherence, on-time delivery, cycle time, project risk, margin performance and customer satisfaction where applicable.
  • Capture lessons learned and convert them into improvements for future project execution.
  • Support analysis of recurring bottlenecks and cross-functional delivery issues.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Project governance and process design
  • Technical aptitude and engineering literacy
  • Situational Leadership Skills
  • Risk management and decision‑making

Education and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within manufacturing, engineered‑to‑order products, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering workflows, production planning, and quality systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer projects with technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in pressure relief devices, process safety, industrial equipment, or adjacent technical industries.
