Contingent upon contract award.

First Division Consulting (FirstDiv) is currently seeking a Project/Task Manager position to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position is contingent upon award, one that will offer you the opportunity to be part of a cohesive and dynamic team providing mission critical support.

The qualified candidate shall perform the following task(s):

  1. Provides day to day direction for a group of subordinates.
  2. Provides expert functional guidance to employees.
  3. Interfaces with Government management to resolve problems.
  4. Establishes priorities of work to subordinates based on Government goals and objectives.
  5. Interfaces between Government customer and Contractor.
  6. Performs other PM direct support functional roles.
  7. Distribute and balance workload in accordance with established workflows and assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload.
  8. Give on the job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices.
  9. Lead the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provide leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining improvements.
  10. Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, suspenses and time frames for completion.
  11. Assign work to personnel according to workload, ability and priority of assignment.
  12. Provide instruction and assistance as necessary on problems or issues.

The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Minimum qualifications include:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree is required in Business Management or IT related discipline.
  2. 20+ Years experience.
  3. Demonstrated supervisory skills for larger teams.
  4. Demonstrated experience working with senior government officials and Contracting Officer Representatives.
  5. Secret clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  2. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  3. Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  4. Regular, predictable attendance is required.
