Overview

MicroTech is currently seeking a Project/Task Manager position to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position is contingent upon award, one that will offer you the opportunity to be part of a cohesive and dynamic team providing mission critical support.

Responsibilities
  • Provides day to day direction for a group of subordinates
  • Provides expert functional guidance to employees
  • Interfaces with Government management to resolve problems
  • Establishes priorities of work to subordinates based on Government goals and objectives
  • Interfaces between Government customer and Contractor
  • Performs other PM direct support functional roles
  • Distributes and balances workload in accordance with established workflows and assures timely accomplishment of the assigned workload
  • Gives on the job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices
  • Leads the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provides leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining improvements
  • Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, suspenses and time frames for completion
  • Assigns work to personnel according to workload, ability and priority of assignment
  • Provides instruction and assistance as necessary on problems or issues

The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

  • Demonstrated experience working with senior government officials and Contracting Officer Representatives
  • Active Secret clearance
