Gaskins + LeCraw has joined the Pape-Dawson Family. Pape-Dawson seeks a Project Surveyor - Professional Land Surveyor for our Statesboro, GA office. The role leads surveying projects, mentors staff, and provides guidance on ALTA/NSPS surveys and boundary work.

The licensed professional will manage budgets, communicate with clients, and seal legal descriptions. The position targets newly licensed surveyors seeking growth, with standard full-time hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Surveyor in GA and SC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review field and office staff on surveying projects.
• Collaborate with engineering staff and clients to meet project requirements.
• Guide Survey Technicians and Surveyors in Training.
• Manage and schedule projects to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare field packages and perform calculations.
• Process field data into plats and metes and bounds descriptions.
• Perform quality control on drawings and legal descriptions.
• Resolve property boundaries and oversee boundary construction.
• Sign and seal drawings, descriptions, and reports.
