Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Aransas Pass, TX is seeking a Project Surveyor to join our Survey/Geospatial team. You will lead boundary and ALTA surveys, perform data analysis, and provide precise layout computations for infrastructure, buildings, and roads.

You will collaborate with project managers, supervise field and office staff, and support proposals and contract documents. A strong background with Civil 3D, TBC, and MicroStation is required, along with a valid driver's license and

Qualifications

Associate degree preferred, or equivalent technical experience.
5+ years of related surveying experience.
LSIT or PLS certification required.
Proficient in Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center (TBC), and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

Analyze and prepare complete boundary and ALTA surveys by compiling record data and providing sound analysis and reason for accurate property line location.
Provide accurate computation for the layout of infrastructure, buildings, subdivisions, roads and lots.
Assist Project Managers in the preparation of proposals, estimates, reports/findings, plans, and other contract documents.
Organize and coordinate the work of field and office staff required to complete design, field and/or other tasks on more complex projects.
Assist in the preparation of project/task work plans.
Provide direction to staff to complete project objectives.
Monitor the work efforts of assigned staff including sub-consultants and/or contractors.
May supervise assignments given to the Survey Technician(s).
