Job summary

Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to support our growing team.

You will prepare and oversee subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, legal descriptions, and related survey matters, coordinating with Project Managers to ensure timely delivery. Candidates must hold a CA licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) and have two years of general survey education with at least two years of problem-solving mapping experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of general survey and mapping education and up to six years or more of experience or equivalent in land boundary and titles.
• Minimum of two years independently solving complex mapping or engineering problems.
• Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the State of California.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, oversee, and process subdivision maps, records of survey, ALTA surveys, lot line adjustments, legal descriptions, condominium plans and related subdivision/survey matters.
• Monitor budgets, schedule, and coordinate with engineering Project Managers.
• Prepare project approach, setup and execute mapping tasks.

What You’ll Do as a Project Surveyor:

What We’re Looking For:

• Have two years of general survey and mapping education and up to six years or more of experience or any equivalent combination of college and design experience in land boundary and titles.
• Must have a minimum of two years independently solving complex mapping or engineering problems and be licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the State of California.
• A motivated, curious problem-solver who works well independently and on a team.
