Job summary

Atwellgroup in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Project Surveyor to oversee land development projects. In this role, you will collaborate with project managers and utilize your technical expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

As a Project Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in bringing residential, commercial, mixed‑use development, and renewable energy projects to life. What You’ll Do

• Partner closely with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects of all sizes.
• Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency.
• Use your technical expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process data, create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Review and verify survey calculations and field data, ensuring precision and compliance with project standards.
• Collaborate daily with engineers, contractors, and clients – you’ll be the trusted survey voice on the team.
• Continue developing your skills through paid training, industry events, and professional networking opportunities.

What You Bring

• A deep understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center – you know how to turn data into accuracy and insight.
• Experience with Trimble field equipment preferred.
• Prior field crew experience is a plus – you understand both sides of the process.
• LSIT or PLS certification desired (multi‑state licensure a plus).
