This position is ideal for newly licensed surveyors looking to develop their expertise and grow in the profession.**Responsibilities:*** Supervise, coordinate, and review activities and deliverables of field and office staff assigned to land surveying projects.* Collaborate closely with engineering staff and clients to ensure project requirements are met.* Provide guidance and direction to Survey Technicians and Surveyors in Training.* Manage and schedule individual projects to ensure timely completion.* Perform calculations and prepare field packages as required.* Process acquired field data into neat and accurate plats of survey and/or Metes and Bounds descriptions.* Perform quality control reviews of drawings and legal descriptions prepared by others.* Resolve boundaries of properties and oversee boundary construction and related issues.* Sign and seal completed drawings, legal descriptions, and surveyor’s reports.**Qualifications:*** Licensed as a Professional Surveyor in the state of employment.* 0-4 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Surveyor.* Experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic surveys for design, and construction staking.* Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to manage project budgets and invoicing.* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of employees and clients.* Strong time management and organizational skills.* Dependable and reliable with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.* Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.**EEO Statement:**All qualified applicants for Pape-Dawson Engineers will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
