WSP USA is seeking a Project Supply Chain Manager to join a project team on site at construction sites nationwide. The role focuses on material management, procurement, inventory control and analytics to support project execution while traveling to multiple sites across the United States.

You will supervise and coordinate material storage, ensure 3Cs custody, care, control, conduct inventory counts, and optimize inbound/outbound logistics to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs supply chain and logistics functions including procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
• Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers.
• Ensures inventories are secure, properly identified and accessible to authorized personnel.
• Maintains controls over inventories (raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
• Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
• Ensures quantities of incoming/outgoing shipments are correct; analyzes inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales.
• Coordinates inbound/outbound logistics including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Analyzes transportation and distribution systems for efficient and economical delivery.
• Conduct detailed inventory analyses aligned to project needs (site, schedule).

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Supply Chain Manager. The candidate selected for this position will work as a member of a Project Team on site at one of our projects nationally. This role primarily operates in Construction environments supporting the execution of construction activities. This is a heavy travel role working on project sites throughout the United States.

This Opportunity

The purpose of the Supply Chain Manager is to directly supervise and manage material storage site(s) activity on a WSP project where we are providing SCM and/or Material Management services. The role will be accountable for the operations at one (1) or multiple sites ensuring the 3Cs (Care, Custody, and Control) are maintained over safeguarded material. Additionally, role will be responsible for conducting Project material-related analysis to provide insights and support the needs of the Project. Employees in this role will primarily work on location at the project construction sites.

• Physical Components of the Role
  • Must be able to stand for multiple hours on a rocked surface.
  • Must be able to walk over 10,000 steps a day on a rocked surface.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and/or manipulate materials weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Must be willing to spot equipment on the yard during operations, traveling to/from storage locations, and loading of trucks with equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Individual must have experience in a management role, managing, and fostering the development of personnel assigned to them.
• 3-5 years quantifiable experience in Project Management.
• 3-5 years quantifiable experience in Supply Chain Management practices.
• General knowledge of the power delivery industry
• Team members must be extremely proficient in the Office 365 suite of software, with an emphasis in Excel. Advanced Excel knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience in collaborating on Projects as a value-added member
• Role will be located at the Project Site (Nationwide) consisting of:
  • Onsite Work (Office, Field)
  • Remote: Based on needs of the Project
  • Travel

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Essential project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAP-M).
