Job Description

1. This full-time role involves supervising work on systems ranging from small commercial installations to large, complex projects involving multiple plumbing systems, including plumbing, pipefitting, and sheet metal (ductwork).
2. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.
3. Maintain liaison with prime clients and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities.
4. Manage and lead project field manpower to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget; investigate and address serious issues with corrective actions.
5. Represent the company in project meetings and assist in strategic planning.
6. Oversee the quality of installed products and systems.
7. Plan and schedule manpower to optimize labor budgets.
8. Collaborate with the project manager.
9. Perform additional responsibilities as directed by corporate leadership.

Requirements

1. At least 10 years of verifiable experience in plumbing, piping, or sheet metal trades, with a minimum of 5 years in supervisory roles.
2. Minimum of 5 years managing projects valued at over $35 million.
3. Thorough knowledge of all plumbing systems, including installation methods from domestic water to medical gas.
4. Deep understanding of piping and ductwork systems and their installation techniques.
5. Excellent communication skills for interaction with employees and clients.
6. Ability to supervise multiple foremen and manage project schedules to meet deadlines.
