Sweetwater Integration is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead a team of technicians and subcontractors during AV/lighting system installations. You will ensure adherence to project design, scope, and deadlines under the Project Manager’s direction, with travel required across the country.
You will read blueprints, coordinate with the PM, and ensure safety compliance, including PPE usage and DOT medical clearance. Lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional overtime may be needed.
The Project Superintendent will supervise and direct the work of a team of technicians and/or subcontractors during the installation of contracted audio, visual, and lighting systems. It is the job of the Project Superintendent to ensure that established project design, scope, and deadlines are met while working under the direction of the Project Manager. Travel is required and occasional overtime maybe needed.
A high school diploma or equivalence; and two years of experience in commercial installation of audio, video and lighting integrated systems; or any combination of training and experience which enables the candidate to successfully perform the essential duties of this position.
Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, use hands and fingers, reach and push with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb and balance. Work requires ability to perform job duties on scaffolding, ladders and at various heights as well as extensive overhead motion required to install equipment. Work requires ability to lift fifty pounds on a daily basis and be exposed to warm and cold environments.
