Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Commercial Roofing Superintendent to lead field operations on GC projects, patch & repair work, TremCare programs, and service initiatives. You will supervise subcontractors, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires extensive roofing construction experience, ability to read plans and specs, and leadership of field crews.

• Oversee all phases of assigned projects to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule and budget.
• Interpret and implement project administration requirements, contract specifications, and company standards.
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve scheduling, quality, or operational challenges.
• Manage project quality control processes and ensure adherence to Tremco and WTI standards.
• Coordinate and schedule required field inspections and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, project specifications, applicable building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary field liaison between subcontractors, customers, owners, and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve project issues and conflicts while ensuring work is performed according to specifications and company standards.
• Prepare and provide project status reports, documentation, and updates to management and customers as required.
• Foster strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain and promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Travel throughout the assigned region as necessary to support project and customer needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Commercial Roofing Superintendent is responsible for managing assigned special projects and customer accounts, including General Contractor (GC) projects, large-scale Patch & Repair work, TremCare programs, and other service-related initiatives. This role collaborates closely with Project Managers, Technical Representatives, field personnel, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. Commercial Roofing Superintendent provides leadership for field operations and subcontractor management, leveraging extensive experience in commercial and industrial roofing construction to deliver high-quality project outcomes while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $35 and $45. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
