Job summary

Walsh Group in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Project Superintendent for our Aviation Group to lead field operations, ensure safety, and keep projects on schedule and on budget.

You will manage subcontracting, sequencing, and quality control, while mitigating risks and enforcing Walsh safety standards and OSHA requirements. Relocation may be required for some roles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Relocation may be required for some roles.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of field operations.
• Create and manage project schedule.
• Coordination of subcontracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Establishing budgets and controlling cost.
• Identify the causes of cost variances and eliminate negative variances.
• Identify project risk and mitigate it.
• Communicate quality standards to each subcontractor and vendor.
• Conduct systematic quality control inspections.
• Follow Walsh safety program and OSHA standards.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness.
• Prepare daily time cards for supervised personnel.
• Prepare daily logs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall management of field operations
